King Britt presents Fhloston Paradigm, a manifestation of afro futurist ideals, based in an electronic music landscape. It walks the line of duality, science fact, science fiction. It is the future of the nowmoment. The purpose is to transmit the omni-versal message of divine abstractions into aural pleasing tones.King Britt’s future forward project, who’s album The Phoenix, debuted on the powerful Hyberdub label. This been his focus since 2012. Organically, the past five years has seen this project in various incarnations, landing in prestigious places like MoMA PS1 (NYC) , MoCAD (Detroit), XOYO (London) and Air (Japan) and beautiful reviews in respected press The Wire, Pitchfork and FactTV. For Moogfest, he will present a special hybrid dj set, combining hardware for a sonic dancefloor trip. Drawing on soul, techno and sci fi, for the journey into Fhloston’s influences. His new album After... is mostly centered around the Moog family of synths, so expect to hear some of the unreleased bits before its June release.
