Dr. Kate Shaw is an experimental particle physicist at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy, working on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN Geneva. Along with her research Kate is also passionate about promoting physics in developing countries, in line with the work of the ICTP. Kate founded the Physics Without Frontiers program in 2012, which works to inspire, train & motivate physics & maths students in developing countries, to help build the next generation of scientists!
