Halsey Burgund is a musician and sound artist whose installations and musical performances make extensive use of spoken human voice recordings as musical elements, alongside traditional and electronic instruments. Recently, his work has focused on evolving, contributory, location-based audio installations accessible via custom smartphone apps. Halsey has exhibited and performed his work internationally and has held artist fellowships at the Smithsonian and MIT.
