Michael Hendrix
Michael Hendrix is a Partner and Executive Design Director at global design and innovation consultancy, IDEO, where he has worked on everything from home goods to homeland security. A natural trailblazer and collaborator, he co-founded an art school for high schoolers, a design curriculum for undergrads, two professional design clubs and three small businesses, the last of which was recognized by Business Week and Fortune as a thought leader for sustainable design. Most recently he co-founded Open Music, a non-profit initiative of Berklee College of Music Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship (ICE), to simplify how music rights owners are identified and compensated.Throughout his 20+ year career as an award-winning graphic designer he’s also nurtured his passion for music, producing records for garage bands, designing cassette and CD covers, and recording as dream pop artist, R.M.Hendrix.
