Goldsmiths researchers Rebecca Fiebrink and Mick Grierson introduce their new cross-platform machine learning and synthesis toolkit, RAPIDLib. Come and learn how to create synthesisers driven through artificial neural networks, offering intelligent control of large numbers of synth parameters with just a few knobs, motion controllers or even biosignals. They will also present a hardware modular synth that uses machine learning to control a range of synthesiser parameters via Control Voltage, baking AI into your modular setup.
