Moogfest 2017

Incorporating trans femme writer Che Gossett's notion of abolition as "becoming-with," this workshop will feel out abolitionist trajectories. The source material and subject matter for the discussion ranges from Andean art, Elysia's family's oral history, Spanish colonial texts from Pachakuti Yamqui and Guaman Poma, and archive images from museums in the North & South. The class will be free-form, honoring disability in a place of academic posturing.
