Self-driving cars promise to save lives, clean up the air, and transform our commutes into free time. But when are we going to start seeing them on the road? Michael Clamann of Duke Robotics will talk about the technical, political, and social barriers we still need to overcome in order to fully assimilate autonomous automobilies. He will answer your questions about this emerging technology, and discuss the work he’s doing to help self-driving cars and pedestrians coexist safely in our cities.
