Join Wally De Backer (aka Gotye), members of his Ondioline Orchestra ensemble, and Ondioline restoration specialist Stephen Masucci in a conversation about the career of French electronic music producer Jean-Jacques Perrey (1929–2016). Learn about Perrey's pioneering tape-edit sampling techniques, early modular Moog work, his virtuosic explorations of the Ondioline, as well as the life and work of the Ondioline's inventor, Georges Jenny. A casual conversation and audience Q & A will take place on-stage, in a circle, surrounding a variety of restored Ondiolines and artifacts from Perrey and Jenny's archives.
