Moogfest 2017

Learn to build a web-based music visualizer with code, intuition, and magic. We will learn some coding basics and then use exploratory coding methods and divination to create a sound-responsive sketch. This workshop seeks to make space for femme-friendly approaches to working with technology, but is open to all.

Particapants are required to bring their own laptop. Before attending this workshop, please download "p5.js complete" from http://p5js.org/download/ and have available any song or sound sample in an .mp3 format on said laptop.


** If you successfully register for this workshop, it will be confirmed in your personalized schedule. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Those not in attendance 5 minutes before the session begins will forfeit their spot to those in line. 

** If you were unable to successfully register for this workshop but were added to the waitlist and want to attend, it may still be possible if a space becomes available on the day of the session. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session and wait in the standby line. Open spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis to those in line.
