3D Audio Space Jam FULL

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

What does a Moog synthesizer sound like flying around in a medieval cathedral? Experience spatial audio at this family friendly installation. Play live musical instruments in this 3D audio Space Jam. Control the location of sound in 3D space with interactive devices like the Leap Motion and WiiMotes. Choose spatially accurate 3D reverbations from real spaces around the world, and hear what your music sounds like in different venues.

This session will take place in a site-specific hexaphonic audio environment designed and installed by engineers from Virginia Tech ICAT.

** If you successfully register for this workshop, it will be confirmed in your personalized schedule. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Those not in attendance 5 minutes before the session begins will forfeit their spot to those in line.
** If you were unable to successfully register for this workshop but were added to the waitlist and want to attend, it may still be possible if a space becomes available on the day of the session. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session and wait in the standby line. Open spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis to those in line.
** By registering for a workshop, you acknowledge that Moogfest may share your email address with the instructor for the purpose of planning and coordinating this event.
