Moog Modular technician Nate Murphy will speak with Todd Bailey, Travis Thatcher, and Peter Bussigel about what guided them to the pursuit of electronics, how it affects their art practice, and interesting problems in circuit design for creative applications. Travis and Peter will present their "Torture Device," which uses an electro-acoustic design to both compose and create the sounds of each performance, while Bailey will use a video synthesizer of his own design to create simultaneous projected visual data.
